Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using Food Storage Calculator ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

EMSERO grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on iOS/iPadOS devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

3. Not professional advice

The App produces general food and water storage estimates based on standard long-term storage guidelines (such as widely published LDS and FEMA references) and the inputs you provide. It is provided for informational and planning purposes only and is not nutritional, medical, safety, or emergency-preparedness advice. You are responsible for your own preparedness decisions and for verifying quantities appropriate to your household's needs.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

The calculator is free to use. Pro features are available through an auto-renewable monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: a subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing and canceling: you can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store under your Apple Account settings after purchase.
• Payment processing: all payments are processed by Apple. EMSERO does not collect or store your payment information.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; reverse engineer or decompile it; rent, lease, sell, or sublicense it; or use it for any illegal purpose.

6. Ownership

The App and all intellectual property rights in it remain the property of EMSERO. These Terms grant you no rights to EMSERO's trademarks or logos.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates will meet your requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMSERO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL EMSERO'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Changes

We may modify or discontinue the App and may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

11. Privacy

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
